Extra Co was first founded by two brothers, George and Jean Bou Nasr in Sharjah, UAE in 1979 with a modest team of 50 employees producing small fibreglass tanks. Since then, we have significantly grown in size and capabilities to position ourselves as a leading engineering and manufacturing group in the region with thousands of different products and solutions and over 3,500 people throughout the United Arab Emirates and the region.

Our products and services have reached far and wide across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States of America. Since our inception, we have helped clients complete more than 20,000 projects that have created jobs, grown economies, increased access to energy, resources, and vital services, and made the world a safer, cleaner place.
