Project Overview

The NMIAL is a landmark airport project built in the outskirts of Mumbai city. The GFRG works at Navi Mumbai International Airport are a major architectural feature of the terminal’s futuristic “floating lotus” concept designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The ceiling and wall systems are integrated into the airport’s structural expression, lighting strategy, acoustics, and passenger experience, flowing into various forms seamlessly. Extra Co executed nearly 20,000+ Sqm. of GFRG after going through multiple rounds of commercial and technical tendering & validation by the client and main contractor's core engineering team.
